Although still being considered a young band, DeWolff has been around for more than ten years. Starting out as kids, Robin Piso and brothers Luka and Pablo van de Poel form a highly electrified Hammond-driven power trio. To date, they have released six albums, three live albums, won a Dutch Grammy Award, and recorded an album with Black Keys producer Mark Neill. Also, Pablo was named The Netherlands’ number one guitar player twice! DeWolff breathe music, as they say themselves, and have played over a 1,000 shows all over Europe, Australia, Indonesia and Russia, preaching their “explosive mix of bluesrock with a dash of soul and psychedelica”. Their seventh studio album, Tascam Tapes, is due for release in January. It was recorded on the road, without the use of drums, Hammond organ or guitar amplifiers.
