Wherever this band is performing, at the very least the stage is well-filled. With no less than eight members, St. Paul And The Broken Bones was formed in Birmingham, Alabama in 2012. The ‘rock and roll soul band’ released their debut album, Half The City, in 2014 and followed it up with Sea Of Noise in 2016, which was recorded in two legendary Memphis studios: Stax and Sun. Led by its founders, singer and main songwriter Paul Janeway and bassist Jesse Phillips, the band has worked hard to prove they were no mere retro soul band. They were chosen to be the opening act for The Rolling Stones, performed in many big American tv talkshows and have now toured a large part of the world. Their third album Young Sick Camellia, which was originally planned as three separate EP’s but grew into a whole album, was released in September 2018.
