About the artist
Anyone who sees the Dawn Brothers play inevitably gets sucked into the musical whirlwind soaring across the stage. It’s a clash of sounds and styles, with rock, folk, blues and soul being mixed and stirred into an irresistible cocktail. The Rotterdam-based band released their debut album, Stayin’ Out Late, in 2017 to rave reviews. It even brought them their first hit with Vampire, which climbed the Dutch and German indie charts and gave them the opportunity to tour the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, France and Hungary and play more than 200 shows in two years. They also formed an alliance with DeWolff, with whom they toured and made several albums – the latest, 2022’s Double Cream, earning them an Edison nomination in the process. 2024 saw the release of another Dawn Brothers album, Late To The Party.
