About the artist
Growing up in Kansas City, Missouri, singer and guitarist Samantha Fish was frequenting the city’s famous blues club, Knuckleheads Saloon, before she was allowed to step on stage. She comes from in a musical household (her older sister Amanda is also a known musician) and was drawn to blues music from an early age, later branching out to other genres as well. These days, she has a slew of albums and awards to her name and received invitations to tour with The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Slash and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, among others. So far, Fish earned two Grammy nominations; for Death Wish Blues, her 2023 collaboration with rocker Jesse Dayton, which hit #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, and for her latest album Paper Doll, which was released in 2025.
