Van Morrison and Brad Paisley at Holland International Blues Festival 2026

19 December 2025

Van Morrison, Brad Paisley, Kip Moore, and George Thorogood & The Destroyers will be performing at the Holland International Blues Festival in Grolloo in 2026. Also confirmed are Keb’ Mo’, Marlon Pichel, Midland, Robert Jon & The Wreck, Samantha Fish, The Devil Makes Three, and Tim Knol & The Wandering Hearts, who will pay tribute to Tom Petty. A total of 20 acts will perform across two stages on 19 and 20 June.

Van Morrison is viewed as one of the greatest composers of his generation. The Northern Irish-born singer, composer and saxophonist has an impressive record: he has won multiple Grammy Awards and is known for his indefatigable work rate. As a teenager, he found early fame with the group Them, before continuing as a solo artist, and creating the legendary Astral Weeks album. During his lengthy career, he has scored hits with songs such as Gloria (with Them), Have I Told You Lately, Brown-Eyed Girl, Moondance, and Bright Side Of The Road.

Singer and guitarist Brad Paisley may well call himself a country great. He has released 12 albums and received three Grammys, as well as many other awards. Paisley even became the first artist to achieve ten consecutive Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 singles. He has collaborated with artists such as Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, and many more in his genre.

Multi-platinum singer/songwriter Kip Moore has released six critically acclaimed albums and penned over a dozen chart-topping singles, including hits Something’ ‘Bout a Truck, Hey Pretty Girl, Beer Money, and More Girls Like You. With over 3 billion streams and 2.5 million monthly listeners, Moore is renowned for his signature sound, playing blistering live shows in stadiums, arenas, and theaters around the globe, which resulted in his 2024 CMA International Artist Achievement Award for his worldwide touring and promotion of country music.

Celebrating his 50th anniversary of performing in 2024, George Thorogood has been setting stages on fire with his band The Destroyers and their “high-energy boogie-blues” for many decades. His 1982 song Bad To The Bone became an absolute classic. In recent years, the band toured with the likes of John Fogerty as well as ZZ Top, and received the B.B. King Award from TheMontreal International Jazz Festival. In 2026, they will continue their The Baddest Show On Earth Tour, a “stage-shaking, roof-raising, guitar-snarling blast.”

The Holland International Blues Festival has been held in Grolloo, Drenthe, since 2016, closely linked to the musical legacy of Cuby + Blizzards and frontman Harry Muskee. What began as a blues festival has, with the addition of country and Americana, become a staple for fans of authentic American music. The blend of rural scenery and tangible musical history gives the festival its unique character.
